Bjango (pronounced be-jan-go) is a 100% privately owned company. We’ve been ranked as high as #2 on the iTunes App Store overall paid app chart. Apple have featured Bjango’s apps on iTunes and in some of their advertising, including an ad on the back cover of Time Magazine in the US.
Bjango was founded by part of the team that created iStat Pro, iStat Menus, Organized and quite a few other successful donationware apps and widgets under the moniker of iSlayer. iSlayer formed mid 2005 and transformed into Bjango early 2009. Our iSlayer apps and widgets have had over 20 million downloads so far.
Hopefully you’ll enjoy our take on things—we love easy to use, impeccably crafted little iPhone apps, so that’s what we build. We also really like hearing back from our users, so please send us a message to report bugs, to request features or just to say hi.
All Bjango team members reside in that great big, sunny land mass at the end of the earth, Australia. Bjango.com is hosted on a Mac Mini at Macminicolo.
Follow us on Twitter to be the first to know about updates, new releases and what we’re up to. We also give out promo codes for our apps via a second Twitter account (@bjangocodes).
We have one coder, one designer, one support and one part time finance/PR person. Everything is created and managed in-house, including music and sound design. We’re tiny, but we work very hard and love what we do.

There’s nothing we like better than talking to bloggers and press (we’re a small company, so we need all the help we can get). Please contact us if you’d like a chat. Images for app reviews can be found via the media kit link on each app’s info page. Feel free to use them in reviews on your blog or news site. Promo codes are also available for reviewers (please keep in mind that we have a very limited amount of codes).
Thanks for listening.
