Jobs has just the right features to make it a powerful time tracker, but none of the fluff, so it is intuitive and lightning fast to use.
Creating time sheets has never been simpler—add a job name, then press play to start tracking. When you’re done, press pause. Easy!
Each job features an hourly rate, flagfall, associated client and total time spent on the job (broken up into sessions that are logged every time you pause or restart a job). To make things even quicker, your hourly rate and flagfall are automatically set to a default rate, but can be overridden on a job by job basis.
Chances are you have already entered most of the information for the clients you work with as an iPhone’s contact... that’s perfect! Simply link your client to the contact you’ve already created, giving you quick access to their phone number, address, notes or anything else you may have entered previously.
Jobs can ensure only a single job is running or can run several job timers at once, depending on your needs. A badge for the running timers can be seen on the jobs tab inside the app and on the Jobs icon on the home screen.
Timers can even run while the application is closed, so feel free to make calls or use other applications at any time.
Jobs supports all the different currency symbols from around the world, including $, €, ¥, kr and many more.
SessionsEvery time you start or stop working on a job, Jobs logs it. This means when you’re ready to bill your clients, you’ll have a complete list of when you were working on their project, down to the second.
Sessions can be manually created, edited and deleted, if you choose to do so.
ExportingWhat good is having all this information if you can’t use it to generate invoices? Jobs exports as industry standard CSV or as text via email, letting you easily import into Excel, Numbers or pretty much any spreadsheet application.
It can export single jobs or all jobs for a specific client.
