Consume uses the best possible method to obtain the usage information from your provider. However, changes to a provider’s website or server might mean that Consume needs an update to continue to function.
Unlike other usage apps, Consume uses Recipes to determine how to fetch the provider’s data. Recipes are automatically updated from the Bjango server, meaning we can fix issues without having to submit a completely new app to Apple.
We can also add new providers via Recipe updates.
What does this mean? Consume should be more stable, support more providers and can be fixed quicker than other app, if issues arise. Please note that Consume fetches data directly from your provider—no personal data passes through Bjango’s server. We value your privacy.
To find out the Recipe version for each provider you’re using, tap the “Updated 0 minutes ago” text on the usage page. Recipes require a working internet connection to update.

If you notice something not working, please get in touch.
