Info pop-upTo open the info pop-up, tap the “Updated 0 minutes ago” text. The info pop-up includes the Recipe version for the account you’re looking at, the exact time of the last update and the ability to email us your usage data. Emailing usage data is typically used to help diagnose issues quickly.
OverviewTo see a handy overview of all your accounts in Consume, simply rotate your iPod or iPhone into landscape orientation. To get back to the single account usage view, rotate back to portrait orientation.
To refresh an account while in overview, tap the mini refresh icons.
To select an account so that it’ll be in focus when you return to portrait orientation, tap on the right
hand side of the account area. This can help navigate through large lists of providers.
If you have Refresh on Launch turned on, accounts will be refreshed in the order they appear in Settings—top account first, bottom account last. To edit the order, tap Edit, then drag the handle on each item to the place you’d like that account.
Timer iconThe timer icon means the account is in the queue to be refreshed soon. It’s like this because Refresh on Launch is turned on and you’ve recently launched Consume, or because you recently tapped the refresh button, but Consume was busy refreshing other accounts.
Easier navigationThere’s a few ways to navigate between different accounts in Consume. The first (and most obvious) method is to swipe from left to right or right to left. It’s also possible to tap on the left or right hand side of the page indicator to jump back or forward one page, or select the account to view while in overview (explained above).
Consume typically uses a similar amount or less data than opening one webpage for each account checked, each time they’re checked.
Consume fetches data directly from your provider—no personal data passes through Bjango’s server.
