To open the info pop-up, tap the “Updated 0 minutes ago” text. The info pop-up includes the Recipe version for the account you’re looking at, the exact time of the last update and the ability to email us your usage data. Emailing usage data is typically used to help diagnose issues quickly.
Consume for iPad uses custom layouts for portrait and landscape. If you haven’t seen them both, please check them out.
If you have Auto Refresh turned on, accounts will be refreshed in the order they appear in Settings—top account first, bottom account last. To edit the order, tap Edit, then drag the handle on each item to the place you’d like that account.
The timer icon means the account is in the queue to be refreshed soon. It’s like this because Auto Refresh is turned on and you’ve recently launched Consume, or because you recently tapped the refresh button, but Consume was busy refreshing other accounts.
Consume typically uses a similar amount or less data than opening a couple of small webpages for each account checked, each time they’re checked.
