Job — A task or project that you'd like to track. Exporting uses a job as the smallest unit, so larger projects might be best tracked as several jobs.
Client — Each job can be linked to a client, allowing you to group them for exporting and viewing. If you don't actually have "clients" per se, you can use clients as a way to group connected jobs.
Session — Every time you press play on a job, a new session is created. This lets you easily see and edit when you were working on a specific job.
Flagfall — Flagfall is a once off fee that's charged at the start of a job. This is sometimes called a "call-out fee".
Rate — Rate or Rate per hour is the hourly rate charged when a job's timer is running. If you'd rather charge by a different time interval, then we recommend using rounding and altering your hourly rate to suit. For example, a half hourly rate of $10 could be set up as a $20 hourly rate with half hourly rounding.
Rounding — In Jobs, timers can be rounded up or down to the nearest 5, 6, 10, 15, 30 or 60 minutes.
Export — Exporting from Jobs creates a file that can be used in other applications. Please read the Exporting help document for more information.
Status bar — The topmost area on your iPhone's screen. This contains your signal strength, carrier, the time, battery status and other items.
Navigation bar — The area just under the status bar. This contains the name of the page you're on and navigation for going back, editing, deleting or adding jobs and clients.
Jobs list and Clients list — The area just under the navigation bar, containing a list of jobs or clients.
Tab bar, Jobs tab, Clients tab and Settings tab — The area at the very bottom of the screen. In Jobs this area contains three buttons that take you to the main sections: Jobs, Clients and Settings.
