Resetting Remote Connections

Sometimes Photoshop’s Remote Connection service has issues. We’ve noticed that changing the service name to something new in Photoshop can get it running again.

Here’s how to do it:

• Open Photoshop.
• Choose Photoshop → Preferences → Plug-Ins.
• Change the service name and password to something new.
• Open Skala Preview.
• Choose Settings → Photoshop Settings.
• Enter the new service name and password.
• Relaunch Photoshop.

If that doesn’t help, please try dragging a PSD to Skala Preview. Does that work? If it does, please try restarting Photoshop. It it doesn’t, please try restarting your Mac.
